I've got a surprise today! Well,  not TOO much of a surprise since Sisi's been sneaking sneaks on the Color4Nails Facebook page but today I've got the collaboration collection The Seven Kingdoms just for you!

Dearest Nicki of Celestial and Sisi of Color4Nails have spent months working on this gorgeous collection inspired by Game of Thrones and I'm honoured they asked me to swatch for them. I was especially excited because I adore GoT.

There are a total of 10 polishes in this collection and I can't imagine how much work went into each seeing we're on opposite sides of the world! It's obviously paid off though and I've got six polishes to review today so let's get cracking.

Mother of Dragons is the first polish.

This is what Nicki says - A deep red based chameleon polish which shifts within these colours mauve/red/orange/yellow. Daenerys Targaryen was sold into marriage but later lost her husband, Drogo and unborn son. Her marriage and subsequent interaction with the Dothraki people gives her the confidence and strength and belief in herself as the rightful queen of the Seven Kingdoms. She hatched three dragons by having the petrified dragon eggs placed on Drogo's funeral pyre before she walked into the flames to claim them. This earned her the name "Mother of Dragons".

Mother of Dragons had a buttery formula that took me by surprise. It was easy to apply and no clean up was necessary. A thick coat would've sufficed but I did two thin coats. I was afraid because it seemed somewhat frosty and brushstrokes are nightmares to deal with but they disappear as the polish dries. I love the multichrome effect of Mother of Dragons although it isn't very strong. Red is a classic I reach for every now and then so this is definitely a keeper.

This is Little Finger.

Here's what Nicki says - A purple to blue thermal holo polish. Lord Petyr Baelish, sometimes called Little Finger, is the treasurer on the King's Small Council.

This is my first ever thermal so naturally I was excited! I got really confused because it was purple when it went on and later in the night when I looked at my nails, they were blue and I had forgotten they were thermals so I thought I had mistaken. The boyf had to remind me they were thermals and so they change colour! It was rather fascinating. Unfortunately when I was wearing this, it rained. For an entire week, it POURED. Crazy strong winds and all. So no, no holo here although you can see a slight hint of the scattered holo bits and that was the best colour change I could get because, WHERE WAS THE SUN WHEN I NEEDED IT?!

That said, I loved the formula. I'm a habitual three coater but they were easy, thin, beautiful coats!

This green beauty is High Garden!

Here's what Nicki says - A thermal polish which turns from green to yellow with lots of holo sparkle from the silver micro glitter. High Garden castle is the seat of House Tyrell, regional capital of the Reach and the heart of chivalry in the Seven Kingdoms. It lies on the Mander and there, the Ocean Road meets the Rose Road, making it an important crossroad.

I LOVE GREEN. Three years into my crazy polish addiction and I'm still so in love with green. Okay, granted lime doesn't look great on my nails but that forest green!! Isn't it pretty? I love the scattered holo particles in this one too. It's a great representation of High Garden I reckon. So gorgeous.

This is Arya Stark.

Nicki - This is a pink to purple holo thermal polish and aptly respresents this young lady. Arya Stark is the younger daughter of Lord Eddard Stark. She is fiercely independent and often mistaken for a boy.

I love the linear holo in this one! The pink was soft and delicate and perhaps, her mother's wish for her. I personally like Arya's character. She's ballsy and I'm just hoping they won't kill her off any time soon. This polish takes a little longer to change colour than the rest and I was just standing in the chilly spring breeze, left palm freezing with the ice cube and willing the polish to change colour. Rest assured, she DOES change, she's just a little stubborn like Arya is!

This is A Lannister Always Pays His Debts.

Nicki says - This polish is a yellow to red (more orange looking) thermal loaded with micro silver holographic glitter. Their sigil is a golden lion on a crimson background. Their official motto is "Hear Me Roar" however their unofficial motto is "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts".

Straight up, A Lannister Always Pays His Debts is NOT my kind of colour. My Asian skin pulls yellow when wearing warm/yellow colours like this. However, when orange/red, it looks significantly better. That said, I can't fault the formula on this one. I kept thinking I could still see VNL in this one so I ended up doing five thin coats but three coats probably would've sufficed. It's a gorgeous colour, just not on me. Very apt for the Lannisters and their lion sigil.

This is Jaqen H'ghar.

Nicki says - This polish is another blue based chameleon colour, where a lighter blue is used. This pigment in a clear base, would give the colour shifts indigo/purple/red/orange but due to being in a light blue base, the colour shifts are more purple/gold/green. Jaqen wears his long hair with one side white and the other red. He later changes his appearance to a hook-nosed man with a scar, gold tooth and black curly hair. It is unknown whether this is his true appearance or another disguise for the assassin.

I say - Wow.

This collection is available on Color4Nails starting 15 October. Follow Color4Nails and Celestial Cosmetics on Facebook for more updates! They're both friends of mine and amazing women so show them some love!

Thank you Sisi and Nicki for giving me a first look at these beauties! They're definitely gorgeous polishes with sleek formula to boot.

Till next time,
Seriously, Nicole
